I don’t believe Jason Jessee has returned to Milwaukee since the historic Turf Skatepark (R.I.P) closed down over a decade ago. Well, he’s coming back….although this time not on tour, but by film. I welcome you to join us in one of the very few premieres of the Sundance Film Festival award winning, “Pray for Me”, the Jason Jessee film. The City of Milwaukee is quite fortunate to get the opportunity to see this movie, so come take advantage of it by heading to the classic Oriental Theatre on 2230 N Farwell for a Midnight showing. To get you amped for the movie, we’ll be enjoying $1.50 Pabst’s at Yield Bar just around the corner from 9-11pm. Even better than the PBR and other drink specials, Milwaukee/Chicago rockers, Days Off, will be putting on a show to give us a taste of their upcoming album. The party continues at the theatre where beer/drinks will be available during the film. What? This IS Milwaukee people.

Skateboarding, motorcycles, assault rifles, rockers, hot ladies serving PBR…..could there be a more solid combination of goodness? That answer is no, sir.

Seating is limited, so advanced tickets will be sold through Phase II Milwaukee. If you’re not a local and are making the trip, contact me for tickets and I’ll make sure you’re part of the party. If you want to roll the dice on getting in and hope to buy tickets the day of the event, it’s your call. Tickets will be available at the Oriental ticket office prior to the show as well. Ticket prices are 10 bones. Support the arts and junk, right?

I think that’s it. See you there. ----jesse
